Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi by flight in the evening.

Delhi is the capital of India- the largest democratic and 2nd most populous country in the world and the city has seen its rise and fall several times. New Delhi is the 8th city built by British. Delhi is famous for its beautiful monuments built by different emperors, which can be seen during the city tour.

You will be well received on your arrival at the Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. 
After check- in formality, you will check in to the room.
Overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for full day city tour of Old Delhi (in the morning) & New Delhi (in the afternoon). The city of Delhi can be divided into two parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi.

Old Delhi was earlier ruled by Muslim Sultans for about 700years and later, it became the capital of the Mughal Empire between 17th & 19th centuries. Whereas New Delhi is an imperial and modern city, built by British, when they decided to move their capital from Calcutta in 1911. The sightseeing of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Masjid- India's largest mosque, Red Fort- constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, Rajghat- cremation site of father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi and finally enjoy the rickshaw ride through the old streets of Chandni Chawk, the busiest market of Old Delhi.

Sightseeing of New Delhi includes a visit to India Gate- built in memory of Indian soldiers killed during the First World War. Rashtrapati Bhawan (from outside)- built in the early 20th century as the Imperial residence of the Viceroy, today the official residence of the President of India. Parliament House- an unique circular building with huge colonnades, which houses the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament. Humayun's Tomb- is the first Mughal garden tomb, which looks like the famous Taj Mahal and finally Qutab Minar- one of Delhi's most striking monuments, which is the world's tallest brick minaret with a height of 72.5 meters.

Day 03: Delhi/ Agra (300Kms & 5-6hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Agra via Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary.

Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary,  is a popular National Park, which is located at 40Kms from New Delhi in the state of Haryana. Sultanpur is an ideal place for bird watchers and this is best visited in winters when a large number of migratory birds come here. The four watch towers (machans) have been made at different locations to watch birds easily. There are about 250 species of Birds found at Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary. Some of them are resident, whereas others come migratory birds from Siberia and Europe. The resident birds include Little Cormorant, Paddyfield Pipit, Purple Sunbird, Common Hoopoe, Indian Roller, White-throated Kingfisher, Gray Francolin, Black Francolin, Spot billed Duck, Painted Stork, White Ibis, Black headed Ibis, Great Egret, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, India Crested Lark, Red vented Bulbul, Red wattled Lapwing, Rose ringed Parakeet, Shikra, Laughing Dove, Eurasian collared Dove, Red collared Dove, Spotted Owlet, Rock Pigeon, Magpie Robin, Bank Mynaha and Common Mynah. 

After visiting the Sanctuary, drive continue towards Agra.

Agra is famous for world's most beautiful monument of love- Taj Mahal. The history of Agra is much older than the times of Mughals but during the Mughal Empire, Agra had become one of the great centers of art, culture, learning and commerce. All the great monuments with magnificent work of art and craft are still flourishing in the city including leather work and pietra dura marble-inlay work. Agra is famous for its marble work like tabletops, vases and trays, inlaid with semi-precious stones or gems in ornate floral designs, an imitation of those found in the Taj Mahal. Agra is also an excellent place to buy leather, as it exports shoes, bags, briefcases and jackets.

Arrive Agra in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel.
Overnight in Agra.

Day 04: Agra
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for city tour of Agra, visiting the massive Agra Fort- constructed out of red sand stone by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Itmad-ud daulah, one of the most beautiful of Mughal tombs, stands across the river Yamuna. And finally the world famous Taj Mahal, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the mausoleum of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal, after her death in 1631. The Taj Mahal is recognized worldwide as a symbol of eternal love. Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

In the afternoon, you can visit Sikandara- the tomb of Mughal Emperor "Akbar the Great", which is a magnificent gateway in white and colored marble with four elegant minarets.

Later, you can visit Taj Mahal at sunset (Optional), as you have to pay an extra for Entrance Fee. OR you can visit Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh from across river Yamuna, which offers a beautiful view (without extra cost).
Overnight in Agra.

Day 05: Agra/ Chambal National Sanctuary (70Kms & 2hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Chambal National Park.

Chambal National Sanctuary  was formed in 1979 in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Having an area of 1985 Sq Kms, it was set up as a riverine sanctuary along 425Kms long Chambal river and stretch around 4-6Kms wide along the river. The main attraction of the sanctuary is the variety of aquatic life like the elusive Ganges River Dolphin, Alligator or Gharial ( Gavelia Gangeticus), Crocodile (Muggar), Freshwater Turtles, River Otters and a various species of fishes. All of them can be seen within the sanctuary area. The Crocodile Centre at Deori is the only one of its kind in the state of Madhya Pradesh and the centre helps breed and rehabilitate Crocodiles and Gharials in Chambal. There are about 200 Crocodiles and 1600 Gharials in the sanctuary. The efforts are being taken to protect the Ganges River Dolphins, which is one of the main attraction of the sanctuary. All these can be sight during boat cruise on river Chambal. During the tourist season from November till March, thousands of migratory and resident birds can be seen at the shores of river. Chambal is a home of around 300 species of birds including resident & migratory birds including Bar-headed Geese, Sarus Crane, Pelicans, Flamingos, Brahmini Duck, Eagle, Lesser Flamingos, Pallid Harrier, Common Teal and Cormorants. One can also sight the Indian Skimmer- who have the highest population and strongest bird attraction in Chambal.

Arrive Chambal and check into your hotel.
In the afternoon, proceed for wildlife safari inside Chambal Sanctuary by Motor Boat.

Day 06: Chambal National Sanctuary
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for wildlife safari inside Chambal Sanctuary by Motor Boat. Here you have good opportunity for spotting variety of birds on river bank and dry land.

It also offers you some unique photo opportunities of landscapes, birds & aquatic wildlife. You can also go for the nature walk around the river.

Day 07: Chambal National Sanctuary/ Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (125Kms & 3hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri- which was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. He is also reputed to be a very tolerant ruler, and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blended both Islamic and Hindu elements in their architectural style. One of the buildings even reflects the new syncretistic faith founded by Akbar, Din-e-ilahi, which though very short-lived remains a matter of controversy.

Continue drive towards Bharatpur.

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or The Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Rajasthan is a famous avifauna sanctuary that sees (or saw) thousands of rare and highly endangered birds such as the Siberian Crane come here during the winter season from November- March. It is also a major tourist center with scores of ornithologists arriving here in the hibernal season. It was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971. It was declared National Park in 1982 and later declared World Heritage Site in 1985 under the world Heritage Convention. Over 350 species of birds are known to have made the National Park their home including Babblers, Bee-Eaters, Warblers, Bulbuls, Buntings, The Indian grey hornbill, Chats, Partridges, Quails, Marshall's iora, Peregrine, Osprey, Imperial Eagle, Gadwall, Shoveler, Great Cormorant, Spotted Eagle, Greater spotted eagle, Pallas' sea eagle, short-toed eagle, tawny eagle, and crested serpent Eagle, Common Teal, Cotton Teal, White Spoonbill, Tufted Duck, Ruff, Painted Stork, Little Cormorant, Oriental Ibis, Darter, Asian Open-Billed Stork, Common Sandpiper, Wood Sandpiper and Sarus Crane.

Arrive Bharatpur and check into your hotel.

In the later afternoon, proceed for Bird Watching & wildlife Safari (Rickshaw ride) inside Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to see the birds and other wildlife. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for Bird Watching & wildlife Safari (Rickshaw ride) inside Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to see the birds and other wildlife. The other wildlife includes Chital, Wild Boar, Nilgai, Bengal Fox, Indian Porcupine, Jackals, Small Indian Mongoose, Grey Indian Mongoose, Wild Cats, Hyenas and Small Indian Civet etc. You can also see the reptiles including Indian Python, Monitor Lizard, Skipper frog and Bullfrog Cobra etc.

Day 09: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary/ Jaipur (180Kms & 4hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Jaipur.

Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) and is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded by hills and dotted with forts. Houses with pink latticed windows line the streets, and look almost magical at sunset. Jaipur's regal heritage is evident in its architecture and culture. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas are testaments to the Rajasthan of yesteryears. The arts and crafts of the state are amazing. The bazaars are a lot of fun for not just what are available, but also for the cheerful people in their traditional costumes.

Arrive Jaipur and check into your hotel.

Day 10: Jaipur
After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the present day rulers of Jaipur.
Ascend the Fort on elephant back (subject to availability).

The building of the fort palace was started by Raja Mansingh a noted general in Emperor Akbar's army. Successive rulers later added to the fort. Its architecture is highly influenced by the Mughals.

In the afternoon, proceed to city tour of Jaipur, visiting City Palace, built between 1728 & 1732, it occupies the center of Jaipur and is surrounded by high walls. The important buildings within the Palace are textile and the costume museum, armory museum, Diwan-I-Khas and Diwan-I-am. Jantar Mantar is the largest stone observatory in the World and one of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds, possibly Jaipur's most famous building which was built for the ladies of the harem.

Day 11: Jaipur/ Delhi (260Kms & 5hrs drive) & Delhi/ Fly Back Home
After Breakfast at hotel, drive towards Delhi.
