Arrive Delhi by International flight in the evening.
Delhi, the city is acclaimed for being the cultural capital of India. The spectacular architecture of Delhi city is evident through its antique monuments. This city witnesses an interesting blend of diverse cultures (some even 5000 years old). Delhi has always had a mysterious eternity, the city having witnessed empires rise to glory and fall to ashes. The contemporary Delhi is a culmination of seven cities built by different emperors. Ruins of this ancient city are found even today and now converted to some major tourist attractions, which can be seen during city tours.

You will be well received on your arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel. Traditional welcome upon your arrival at hotel with arti, tikka, garlanding & welcome drink. After check- in formality, you will check in to the room.

DelhiDay 2 : Delhi

Later, proceed for full day city tour of Old Delhi (in the morning) & New Delhi (in the afternoon).
The city of Delhi can broadly be divided into two parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Delhi’s Muslim rulers notably the Mughals between 17th & 19th centuries. New Delhi on the other hand is referred to as the IMPERIAL city when the British decided to move their capital from Calcutta in 1911.
The sightseeing of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Masjid which is India's largest mosque, built of red sandstone and white marble in the middle of the 17th century. Red Fort, a 17th century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the walled city of Old Delhi, Rajghat, cremation site of father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi) and rickshaw rally through the streets of Chandni Chawk (Silver Street), once the imperial avenue down which Shah Jehan rode at the head of lavish cavalcades, is today bustling with shops, stalls and silversmiths' ateliers.

Sightseeing of New Delhi includes a visit to India Gate, built in memory of Indian soldiers killed during the First World War. Drive pass Rashtrapati Bhawan, built in the early 20th century as the Imperial residence of the Viceroy is today the official residence of the President of India and Parliament House, an unique circular building with huge colonnades, houses the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament. Humayun's Tomb is the first Mughal garden tomb. Visitors are immediately struck by the tomb's resemblance to its more famous cousin - the Taj Mahal - with its four grand gateways, octagonal base-plan, soaring niche-shaped arches, lofty double domes and the symmetrical garden with its central canal. And finally Qutab Minar, one of Delhi’s most striking monuments, which is the world's tallest brick minaret with a height of 72.5 meters.

Akbar’s tombDay 3 : Delhi/ Agra (210Kms & 4hrs drive)

Later, drive to Agra. On the way visit Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra on the way, which is a magnificent gateway covered with floral and geometrical arabesque decoration in white and colored marble with four elegant minarets. OR Train: Shatabdi Express (06h10/ 0810) from Delhi to Agra with breakfast served on board by Indian Railways.

Arrive Agra and check in to your hotel. Agra is the city of Taj Mahal and one of the famed cities of India. Once the capital of the Mughal Empire, Agra houses one of world's most spectacular monuments - Taj Mahal. The history of Agra is much older than the times of Mughals. The Mughal rule had transformed the city into one of the great centers of art, culture, learning and commerce. Magnificent monuments in majestic work of art and architecture are still flourishing with arts and crafts including leather work and pietra dura marble-inlay work.

In the afternoon, proceed for city tour of Agra, visiting the massive Agra Fort- constructed out of red sand stone by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience, Itmad-ud daulah, one of the most beautiful of Mughal tombs, stands across the river Yamuna and finally visit the world famous TAJ MAHAL at sunset, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the mausoleum of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal, after her death in 1631. The Taj Mahal is recognized worldwide as a symbol of eternal love.
Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

OPTION : MUGHAL Theme Dinner in the hotel’s lawn with Kathakali dance. This theme dinner takes you back to the fabled world of the Mughals. "Chobdars" (gatekeepers) usher guests to the "dawat-khana" (venue of the function). Hostesses clad in silken, flowing `ghagra' (skirts) and `chunnis' (veils) welcome the guests with flowers and "attar" (perfume) in the traditional style. The sultry melodies of live Indian classical music, sumptuous Mughlai cuisine, live Kathak dance performance (the royal dance of the Mughal Courts) makes a traditional Mughal dinner, a truly unforgettable experience.
Overnight in Agra.

JaipurDay 4 : Agra/Jaipur (230Kms & 5hrs drive)
OPTION: Wake early morning to visit Taj Mahal at sunrise (an extra cost).
Buffet Breakfast at hotel.Later, drive to Jaipur. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri (40kms from Agra) & Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (17kms from Fatehpur Sikri).

Fatehpur Sikri, was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. He is also reputed to be a very tolerant ruler, and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blended both Islamic and Hindu elements in their architectural style. One of the buildings even reflects the new syncretistic faith founded by Akbar, Din-e-ilahi, which though very short-lived remains a matter of controversy.

Continue drive towards Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.

The Keoladeo Ghana National Park or Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Rajasthan is a famous avifauna sanctuary that sees (or saw) thousands of rare and highly endangered birds such as the Siberian Crane come here during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to have made the National Park their home. It is also a major tourist centre with scores of ornithologists arriving here in the hibernal season. It was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971. It is also a declared World Heritage Site. Visit the sanctuary in rickshaws (2 persons per rickshaw).

Buffet Lunch at hotel in Bharatpur and continue drive to Jaipur.

Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) and is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded by hills and dotted with forts. Houses with pink latticed windows line the streets, and look almost magical at sunset. Jaipur’s regal heritage is evident in its architecture and culture. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas are testaments to the Rajasthan of yesteryears. The arts and crafts of the state are amazing. The bazaars are a lot of fun for not just what are available, but also for the cheerful people in their traditional costumes.

Arrive Jaipur and check into your hotel.

You will be welcomed by decorated camels, elephants and musicians upon your arrival at Kukas. Women in traditional Rajasthani costume welcome you with aarti & tikka rituals, while the musicians perform in the background. Enjoy elephant polo, guest can even participate in this; followed by special gala dinner with champagne cocktail and Rajasthani dance & musician and a firework display.

Jaipur Lake PalaceDay 5 : Jaipur
Buffet Breakfast at hotel.
This morning, proceed to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the present day rulers of Jaipur. Ascend the Fort on elephant back (subject to availability). The building of the fort palace was started by Raja Mansingh a noted general in Emperor Akbar’s army. Successive rulers later added to the fort. Its architecture is highly influenced by the Mughals.

In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Pink City of Jaipur, visiting City Palace, built between 1728 & 1732, it occupies the center of Jaipur and is surrounded by high walls. The important buildings within the Palace are textile and the costume museum, armory museum, Diwan-I-Khas and Diwan-I-am. Jantar Mantar is the largest stone observatory in the World and one of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur.

Later, rickshaw rally through the streets of Jaipur and on the way stop for photo opportunities at the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds, possibly Jaipur’s most famous building it was built for the ladies of the harem.

You are escorted into an exotic dining hall fit for kings. You will be served delicious dishes spread on an ornamental dining table that was originally designed for the Maharaja of Jaipur. Delhi Akshardham TempleDay 6 : Jaipur / Delhi (260Kms & 5hrs drive)
Buffet Breakfast at hotel. This morning at leisure for independent activities or shopping etc. OR visit Sanganer village, which is mainly famous for handmade paper industry and textile printing. The crafts created in this town are really unique; hence they are not only loved by Indians but also foreigners.

Apart from handmade paper industry, Sanganer houses some amazing historic sites too like - ruined palaces and ethereal carved Jain temples. One very unique example of historic attraction in the town is Shri Digambar Jain Temple. It is constructed in old architectural style, including sky-high shikhars and inner chamber - having stone shrine with three pinnacles that give shelter to the idol of Parshwanath with 7 serpent hoods. Due to its architectural splendor, this Jain temple of Sanganer is always compared to the Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu and attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world with its incredible carvings.

OPTION : Fly to Delhi in the evening.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to the city centre for last minutes shopping etc. Later, transfer to a hotel for wash & change, followed by a Farewell dinner. Later in the evening, transfer to Delhi International airport to board your flight back home.
