Goa TourDay 1 : Arrive Goa
Arrive Goa. You will be well received on your arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Traditional welcome upon your arrival at hotel with arti, tikka, garlanding & welcome drink. After check- in formality, you will check in to the room.

Goa, is located on the west coast of India and most famous seaside and party state of India. Goa was ruled by Portuguese for more than five hundred years and thus it has some of most ancient and beautiful looking cities in India. Goa has always been an attraction for the tourists, who want to be close to the sea, sand and enjoy the sun. Presence of some exotic beaches along with a number of natural spots, beautiful churches and other places of worship have made it a sought after tourist destination.

Old Goa Tour1. Old Goa Tour (Churches of Goa) and Panjim with Lunch at local restaurant
Old Goa or Velha Goa is an ancient part of Goa and is known for its rich heritage and culture. Goa was a well known Portuguese settlement in the ancient times and by visiting Old Goa, you can get a feel of the rich tradition and culture. You can visit The Basilica of Bom Jesus has been declared a World Heritage Site. It contains the remains of St Francis Xavier, Goa's patron saint who founded the Jesuit order. Francis Xavier was a missionary whose body is claimed to be miraculously preserved even till now, without the use of any chemicals. The Se Cathedral, dedicated to St Catherine, is the largest church in Goa. Its construction began in 1562 under the reign of King Dom Sebastian though it was finally completed by 1652. The church is built in the Portuguese Gothic Style with a Tuscan exterior and Corinthian interior. The Church of the St Francis of Assisi was built by eight Franciscan Friars in 1517. It has carved woodwork, murals with scenes from the life of St Francis and the floor is made mostly of gravestones that date from the 16th century. The Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception is a landmark in Panjim. The Latin quarters, Fontainhas has its own quaint little chapels tucked away behind the colorful colonial houses.

2. Anjuna Flea Market with Lunch at local restaurant
The Anjuna Flea Market, Goa is named after the famous Anjuna beach. The Anjuna market is organized on every Wednesdays on Anjuna beach. People from all over Goa come to this beach and become a part of one of the most popular shopping destinations in Goa. The setting up of the Anjuna Flea Market was mainly the idea of foreigners who decided to earn some money buy selling small self made items and their own belongings. Over a period of time, the idea gained momentum and more and more people joined in. Today, it has become one of the most popular local markets in Goa.

3. Saturday Night Market with Dinner at local restaurant
A good place to see local live acts is at the Saturday night market in Arpora village, which features everything from rock fusion bands to jazz and Goan folk music. Saturday Night Market is a wonderful little world in itself, providing unparalleled services and entertainment to sellers and visitors as well as being Goa’s prime shopping destination. The shopping experience at Saturday Night market is unparallel, where one can find so many creative people from all over the world offering products such as hand-made leather sandals, magic crystal wands, beautiful jewelry and the latest unique fashions.

4. Day excursion to Elephant village with picnic Lunch
A compressed day trip, which includes elephant wash & ride, walk to ancient temple, wash, swim & picnic lunch. Elephants simply love splashing in the water - very much like the humans. Spend great time watching this delightful scene of washing the elephant like a little kid. A delightful trip, which will linger in mind for a long time.

5. Day excursion to Spice Plantation with Lunch
Goa has huge spice plantations that produce many of Goa's fantastic aromatic spices. Once at the plantation, you will be welcomed with an herbal tea and a leaflet briefing you about the plantation. You can see the men climb on the Betel Nut trees, over a hundred feet above the ground, swaying from tree to tree and collecting ingredients fore mixes and spices. After you tour round the plantation, you will be served lunch in an open air restaurant. The meal served on a banana leaf, accompanied by a sweet dish and a tipple of cashew feni (Goan specialty). The food that is prepared here is made purely from the ingredients available at the farm itself. While relaxing with your lunch, you might get glimpses of a few of the nearly 80 species of birds that have been sighted within the plantation.

6. Cooking lesson at a local house with Lunch
Cooking lesson can be organized at a local house in Goa. You will be first taken to the market place to buy the ingredients for the cooking. Then you will be transferred to a local house, where you will be given a demo on how to make goan dishes. You will be then given a time to prepare the assigned dish and after practices you can finally make it. Enjoy eating one of the recepies you have cooked during lunch.

7. Dolphin Tour
Dolphin watching trips are extremely popular in Goa. As soon as the dolphins are sighted, you will get a chance to watch the playful dolphins frolicking about in the Arabian waters. Be ready with your cameras, Dolphins will often swim within a few feet of your dolphin tour boat to have a look at you. Dolphins are playful mammals and will delight you with their antics.

8. Goa River Cruise along Mandovi River.
You can also go for river cruises along Mandovi River. These river cruises have on board folk dance performances as well as traditional Goan songs and dance presentations. Popular dances like Corridinho, Dekhni are performed live on board.

Stroll on the beaches of Goa. Let the waves fiddle your body gently and speak to you in natural ambience. Explore the markets and collect some artifacts for decoration of your home etc.

Day 5 : Goa/ Delhi
Buffet Breakfast at hotel.
Later, transfer to airport to board your flight to Delhi. You will be well received on your arrival at airport and transfer to hotel.

Delhi, the city is acclaimed for being the cultural capital of India. The spectacular architecture of Delhi city is evident through its antique monuments. This city witnesses an interesting blend of diverse cultures (some even 5000 years old). Delhi has always had a mysterious eternity, the city having witnessed empires rise to glory and fall to ashes. The contemporary Delhi is a culmination of seven cities built by different emperors. Ruins of this ancient city are found even today and now converted to some major tourist attractions, which can be seen during city tours.

You will be well received on your arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel.

DelhiDay 6 : Delhi

Later, proceed for full day city tour of Old Delhi (in the morning) & New Delhi (in the afternoon).
The city of Delhi can broadly be divided into two parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Delhi’s Muslim rulers notably the Mughals between 17th & 19th centuries. New Delhi on the other hand is referred to as the IMPERIAL city when the British decided to move their capital from Calcutta in 1911.

The sightseeing of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Masjid which is India's largest mosque, built of red sandstone and white marble in the middle of the 17th century. Red Fort, a 17th century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the walled city of Old Delhi, Rajghat, cremation site of father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi) and rickshaw rally through the streets of Chandni Chawk (Silver Street), once the imperial avenue down which Shah Jehan rode at the head of lavish cavalcades, is today bustling with shops, stalls and silversmiths' ateliers.

Sightseeing of New Delhi includes a visit to India Gate, built in memory of Indian soldiers killed during the First World War. Drive pass Rashtrapati Bhawan, built in the early 20th century as the Imperial residence of the Viceroy is today the official residence of the President of India and Parliament House, an unique circular building with huge colonnades, houses the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament. Humayun's Tomb is the first Mughal garden tomb. Visitors are immediately struck by the tomb's resemblance to its more famous cousin - the Taj Mahal - with its four grand gateways, octagonal base-plan, soaring niche-shaped arches, lofty double domes and the symmetrical garden with its central canal. And finally Qutab Minar, one of Delhi’s most striking monuments, which is the world's tallest brick minaret with a height of 72.5 meters.

Taj MahalDay 7 : Delhi/ Agra (210Kms & 4hrs drive)

Later, drive to Agra. On the way visit Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra on the way, which is a magnificent gateway covered with floral and geometrical arabesque decoration in white and colored marble with four elegant minarets.

OR Train : Shatabdi Express (06h10/ 0810) from Delhi to Agra with breakfast served on board by Indian Railways.

Arrive Agra and check in to your hotel.
Agra is the city of Taj Mahal and one of the famed cities of India. Once the capital of the Mughal Empire, Agra houses one of world's most spectacular monuments - Taj Mahal. The history of Agra is much older than the times of Mughals. The Mughal rule had transformed the city into one of the great centers of art, culture, learning and commerce. Magnificent monuments in majestic work of art and architecture are still flourishing with arts and crafts including leather work and pietra dura marble-inlay work.
In the afternoon, proceed for city tour of Agra, visiting the massive Agra Fort- constructed out of red sand stone by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience, Itmad-ud daulah, one of the most beautiful of Mughal tombs, stands across the river Yamuna and finally visit the world famous TAJ MAHAL at sunset, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the mausoleum of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal, after her death in 1631. The Taj Mahal is recognized worldwide as a symbol of eternal love.
Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

Jaipur FortDay 8 : Agra/ Jaipur (230Kms & 5hrs drive)
OPTION: Wake early morning to visit Taj Mahal at sunrise (an extra cost).

Later, drive to Jaipur, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri (40kms from Agra).
Fatehpur Sikri, was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. He is also reputed to be a very tolerant ruler, and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blended both Islamic and Hindu elements in their architectural style. One of the buildings even reflects the new syncretistic faith founded by Akbar, Din-e-ilahi, which though very short-lived remains a matter of controversy.

Continue drive towards Jaipur.
Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) and is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded by hills and dotted with forts. Houses with pink latticed windows line the streets, and look almost magical at sunset. Jaipur’s regal heritage is evident in its architecture and culture. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas are testaments to the Rajasthan of yesteryears. The arts and crafts of the state are amazing. The bazaars are a lot of fun for not just what are available, but also for the cheerful people in their traditional costumes.
Arrive Jaipur and check into your hotel.

Day 9 : Jaipur

This morning, proceed to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the present day rulers of Jaipur. Ascend the Fort on elephant back (subject to availability). The building of the fort palace was started by Raja Mansingh a noted general in Emperor Akbar’s army. Successive rulers later added to the fort. Its architecture is highly influenced by the Mughals.

In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Pink City of Jaipur, visiting City Palace, built between 1728 & 1732, it occupies the center of Jaipur and is surrounded by high walls. The important buildings within the Palace are textile and the costume museum, armory museum, Diwan-I-Khas and Diwan-I-am. Jantar Mantar is the largest stone observatory in the World and one of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur.

Later, rickshaw ride through the streets of Jaipur and on the way stop for photo opportunities at the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds, possibly Jaipur’s most famous building it was built for the ladies of the harem.

DelhiDay 10 : Jaipur / Delhi (260Kms & 5hrs drive)

This morning at leisure for independent activities or shopping etc.
OR visit Sanganer village, which is mainly famous for handmade paper industry and textile printing. The crafts created in this town are really unique; hence they are not only loved by Indians but also foreigners.

Apart from handmade paper industry, Sanganer houses some amazing historic sites too like - ruined palaces and ethereal carved Jain temples. One very unique example of historic attraction in the town is Shri Digambar Jain Temple. It is constructed in old architectural style, including sky-high shikhars and inner chamber - having stone shrine with three pinnacles that give shelter to the idol of Parshwanath with 7 serpent hoods. Due to its architectural splendor, this Jain temple of Sanganer is always compared to the Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu and attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world with its incredible carvings.
In the afternoon, drive towards Delhi.

OPTION : Fly to Delhi in the evening.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to the city centre for last minutes shopping etc. Later in the evening, transfer to Delhi International airport to board your flight back home.
