Day 1 : Arrive Kolkata
Arrive Kolkata by International flight in the evening.
Till the 17th century, Calcutta (Kolkata) was nothing more than a village. But, today it is one of the major metropolitan cities of India along with Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. The credit for its present status goes to the expansion plans of the European powers, especially the British Raj. During the British Raj Kolkata was known as the “Jewel of East” and was the capital of the country till 1911.

The city remains through the ages as attractive and romantic and is still called the culture Capital of India.
You will be well received on your arrival at the Kolkata airport and transfer to hotel.
Traditional welcome upon your arrival at hotel with arti, tikka, garlanding & welcome drink. After check- in formality, you will check in to the room.
Overnight in Kolkata.

Day 2 : Kolkata/ Port Blair
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to board flight to Port Blair.
Located on the east coast of South Andaman, Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is a remote harbor. As the sun rises from Bay of Bengal, the ethereal beauty of unadulterated nature engulfs one. One can spend hours just staring at the clear blue waters with not a sound to disturb you, except the twittering of a song bird or the footsteps of a wild cat or a deer.

You will be well received on your arrival at Port Blair and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for Corbyns Cove Beach Harbour Cruise. Harbour Cruise is a leisurely cruise (2hrs) in a steamer along the sea encircling Port Blair, which also takes you to Viper Island- the first place of penal settlement in Andaman during British rule, followed by the Light and Sound Show.
Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 3 : Port Blair
After breakfast, drive to Coral Island to indulge in underwater life to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. Also include a glass bottomed boat ride. Return for Lunch and later, proceed to visit the Anthropological museum, Samudrika Museum, Fishereies Museum.
Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 4 : Port Blair/ Havelock Island
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Cellular Jail.
Port Blair, the capital of the 350 odd islands that comprise the Andaman and Nicobar group, has one major landmark- the Cellular Jail. A pipal tree, just outside this seven-winged national monument, can tell tales of the torture of India's freedom fighters within its walls. In 1897, the British, who then ruled India, laid the foundation stone of the building. It had 698 solitary cells to ensure that there was no contact between prisoners. Only three of the seven octopus-like wings remain and as you walk down their corridor, you can still hear the echoes of patriots like Veer Savarker or the booming voice of jailor Berry Bellowing. The records at the site museum and a 'death house' bring tears to one's eyes.The islands were called 'Kalapani'-islands with 'black water', water tinted with the blood of those who would have India free.

In the afternoon, transfer to jetty to board the ferry for Havelock Island. Arrive Havelock and transfer to the hotel. Evening free for leisure.
Overnight in Havelock Island.

Day 5 : Havelock
After breakfast, proceed to visit Radhanagar Beaches. The most beautiful beach on the island and rated as the best in Asia in 2004 by Time Magazine. Lovely white sand backed by a forest that provides welcome shade looking out over turquoise water. Evening free for leisure.
Overnight in Havelock Island.

Day 6 : Havelock/ Port Blair
After breakfast the day is free. Optional trip to Elephant Beach (snorkeling). It's amazing how the water changes color with the light. Elephant beach is a good place for snorkeling with a large area to explore and plenty of fish.
In the evening return back to Port Blair. Arrive Port Blair and check in to your hotel.
Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 7 : Port Blair/ Kolkata
After breakfast, transfer to airport to board flight to Kolkata.
You will be well received on your arrival at Kolkata airport and transfer to the city centre for last minutes shopping etc. Later in the evening, transfer to Kolkata airport to board your flight back home.
